Sanitizer, Disinfectant, Bleach
Peracetic Acid
Peracetic acid (PAA) is highly oxidising and most potent disinfectant.
It is organic and green disinfectant. In water solution it convert into hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. It is Food grade, NSF , FSSAI and Halal approved product and can be used on food contact surfaces.
It effectively kills bacteria, yeast and fungi at low temperature. It is rinse free disinfectant, hence safe to use in food and dairy sectors in CIP, surface sanitizer, equipment sanitization .

Peracetic acid (CH3COOOH) is a sustainable & green chemical, because it decomposition in water produces only water, oxygen and easy biodegradable acetic acid and no environmentally harmful substances.
It is soluble in water and is completely biodegradable, breaking down to harmless products-
CH3(C=O)OOH + H2O -----------> H2O2 + CH3 (C=O)OH

CIP Process Applications
The product is suitable for CIP (Cleaning in Place) sanitation of tanks, containers, pipes, and equipment in the dairy and beverage industry and for use in water stages of bottle washing machines. Furthermore, the product can be used for intermediate disinfection of milking equipment, and tube milking machines, and for sanitation of animal sheds after cleaning. The product can be used to wash vegetables, fruits, and red meat.

Popularity of PAA is growing which is supported by key benefits:
-
Effective at low concentrations- 50- 200 ppm
-
Excellent performance at low temperatures
-
No impact on efficacy in presence of organic matter, solids, and ammonia
-
Easy to use
-
Environmentally Friendly: No Chlorine by-products, quick breakdown, Low lquatic Impact
-
Very cost-efffective vs. Other disinfection methods
Disinfection of production facilities, tanks, containers, pipework, and milk collection trucks:
Concentration: 0.1-0.3%, contact time: 5-10 min., temperature: cold up to 35°C.
Bottle washing machines (water stages) Concentration: 70-100 g per m³ (corresponding 10-15 ppm
active substance peracetic acid).
Soak sanitation (pipework):
Concentration: 0.02 to 0.05%, 10 min-20 min, cold
Intermediate disinfection of milking equipment Dip milking equipment into a 0.5 to 0.7% solution.
Sanitation of animal sheds and surfaces:
Material Compatibility:
Stainless steel is not affected by the solution when used as recommended. The exposure to aluminum should be time limited. Not suitable for use on copper and its alloys. Rubber may be aging faster.
Concentration: 0.1-0.2%, contact time: 10- 30min., temperature: cold
Fogging is a must for high-hygiene processing areas particularly dairy cheese/paneer/curd/powder, raw salad and meat, sandwich, ready meals, cooked meats, and beverages. It is researched that more than 65% of food manufacturers conduct this method of disinfection in addition to normal cleaning and disinfection. We have resolved so many problems of Y&M (Yeast and mold) at various dairy and packaged drinking water companies. We recommend fogging of airspace with peracetic disinfectant - EKO POWER® PAA Sterizid Forte 15%, which is NSF-approved, FSSAI licensed, Halal Certified, and rinse-free disinfectant.
These microorganisms may be coming with air, people, aerosols created during cleaning, water drains, unmanaged AHU, or raw materials entering the processed areas. The need for fogging in food processing areas to ensure a reduction in airborne microorganisms. Microbiological sampling of the critical areas should be carried out in the factory as a part of the factory hygiene procedure to identify the need & frequency of fogging should. FACING Y&M or FUNGUS PROBLEM in your product? - you must start fogging all areas wherever your product is getting exposed to AIR- it is controlled air or not.
